We’re keeping the momentum going with our PECHS Athletics & Activities Hydration & Nutrition Drive! 💜💛

Our student-athletes and activity participants put in long hours at practices, competitions, performances, and events throughout the school year. Having water, sports drinks, electrolyte packets, granola bars, and individually packaged snacks available helps us better support them when they need it most.

Every case, box, or package makes a difference — and every donation helps us stretch our resources across all PECHS athletic and activity programs.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Eagles Invitational! Thank you to Longwood University Cross Country and Track and Field for allow us to use your course and volunteering for the day! Congrats to Lord Botetourt High School for winning the Boys Varsity Division and Manchester High School for winning the Girls Varsity Division! It was a clean sweep for Altavista Combined School in the middle school division! Full results are posted on Milestat!

A full week of Eagle Athletics is ahead! Golf competes for a JRD championship, Cross Country and JV Football are Wednesday, Volleyball returns home Thursday, and Varsity Football travels to Buckingham Friday night.

🏆 Monday: Golf JRD Championships
🏃 Wednesday: Cross Country vs. Central HS/Amelia HS/Nottoway HS
🏈 Wednesday: JV Football vs. Buckingham HS
🏐 Thursday: JV/Varsity Volleyball vs. Cumberland HS
🏈 Friday: Varsity Football at Buckingham HS

Today, Prince Edward Cross Country takes center stage as we host the Eagle Cross Country Invitational at Longwood University!

Our runners have put in countless miles preparing for this opportunity, and now it’s time to compete on their home course.

The work has been done. The miles have been logged. Now it’s time to race.

Tomorrow, Prince Edward Cross Country hosts the Eagle Invitational at Longwood University, bringing runners and teams to Farmville for a full morning of competition.

Congratulations to Golf team as they took their second 2nd place finish off the week to close out their regular season! Top score was Austin Benson with a 36! We also celebrated our Seniors: Nathan Motter, Casen Smith, Austin Benson, Jayden Eppes! Thank you all for what you have done for our program! Once an Eagle always an Eagle! They will host the James River District Championships on Monday, September 21 starting at 10 AM at The Manor Golf Club!

💜💛 EAGLE FAMILY — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💛💜

Our students give their time, energy, and effort representing PECHS throughout the year. Now, we’re asking our community to help us make sure they have the hydration and nutrition support they need along the way.

PECHS Athletics & Activities is collecting non-perishable hydration and nutrition items for ALL PECHS athletic and activity teams throughout the school year.

Whether it’s practice, competition, travel, rehearsal, or a long event day, these donations can make an immediate difference for our students.

Items Needed:
• Bottled water
• Sports drinks
• Protein or granola bars
• Crackers and pretzels
• Individually packaged shelf-stable snacks
