Hello y’all! My name is Stephanie Wilson and I am excited to begin teaching here at HB Suggs in the AU classroom. I was born in Garner, NC where I lived for 15 years, then I moved to Athens, GA to finish up high school. It was there I realized that I had a passion and a want to help students with special needs. Once I graduated, I packed my bags and headed to ECU to earn my bachelors degree in Special Needs education.

In my spare time you can find me making crafts, working out, scuba diving, volunteering at church, trying different coffee shops or going on spontaneous day trips! This school year will be my first year of teaching and I am thrilled and ready for it to begin!

Good evening parents! I wanted to post here so you all could see and give you an update on next school year.

Let me first start off by saying these last 3 years being in the AU classroom working with your amazing students have truly changed my heart. We have experienced so much and I have enjoyed watching them grow. Not only have they learned, but they each taught me so much.

Unfortunately the time has come for me to let you all know that I will not be teaching in the AU classroom next year as I need to take a step back at this time.

Your kids are smart and amazing and will do so many great things. Please stay in touch. I’ll always be here for you and your child! Thank you again for everything over these last 3 years.

Today Mrs. Lamont’s and Ms. Drakes class explores downtown Farmville and visited several locations and learned about our Community helpers!

Today Mrs. Lamont’s class and Ms. drakes class took a trip to McDonalds today. The students learned about money, how to order their food, how to interact with the employees and exchange money for food. They enjoyed this awesome trip!
