Congratulations, to Dr. Bjornsen, who recently won Longwood University's Cole Award! This award recognizes faculty who provide exceptional mentorship to undergraduate students in the area of research, scholarship, and creative endeavors.
Dr. Bjornsen has delivered 30 presentations at national and international conferences with student co-authors, along with 24 additional presentations delivered independently by students over the past decade alone.

The PEP lab's hard work on research paid off at Longwood's Student Showcase for Research and Creative Inquiry. Students Audrey Thompson and Kyra Johnson were recognized for their outstanding research, and their mentor Dr. Kissel received a Faculty Excellence in Mentoring Award!

seniors and PEP lab members Audrey Thompson and Kyra Johnson presented the results of their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Richmond, VA. It's the largest undergraduate research conference in the world! Their research was about psychophysiological differences between autistic and neurotypical individuals.
