Today East Carolina University, and the ECU Center for STEM Education hosted its first-ever STEM Student Success Conference for 8th grade students. FMS AVID students participated in engaging STEM experiences, hands-on learning, and had the opportunity to connect with ECU students and faculty.

It was a fun day! Thank you ECU for the opportunity! 💙❤️

Afternoon Bus Updates

Students who live at Pine Grove Apartments will be dropped off by Bus 263 this afternoon.

Students who ride Bus 408 will be dropped off on a second route. We will continue to update and let you know when that bus leaves campus.

Good evening, FMS Patriot Families,

This is your principal, Dr. Casey, with your weekly Patriot Update for the week of October 12th

Monday (10/12) is a teacher work day, there is no school for students. We are hosting parent-teacher conferences by appointment only. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions.

The FMS Academic Booster Club is seeking donations of full-size Hershey bars. Donations may be dropped off at the front office during school hours. If you are interested in joining the Academic Booster Club, please sign up at tinyurl.com/FMSBOOSTER

This Friday, we will have our Candy Man, Main Event for students who sold 10 or more items.

Tuesday will be a B Day. Band students, please remember to bring your instruments on Wednesday and Friday.

We would like to recognize one of our creative and artistic Patriots, Landon Irwin. Landon’s artwork has been selected for display at ECU’s Joyner Library as part of a larger exhibition. Congratulations to Landon and his art teacher, Ms. Simms!
