This morning we learned the SPOTLIGHT results for our cast, crew, and pit…and WOW.

Let us set the stage for a second…

SPOTLIGHT, sponsored by Hennepin Arts, isn’t just a pat on the back. It’s trained theater professionals and educators coming in, watching your full production, and giving real, meaningful feedback…on EVERYTHING…onstage and off. It’s rigorous, it’s detailed, and it’s earned.

For the second time in three years (and only the third time in school history)…

🏆 Achievement in Musical Theater — earned.

Which means…

🎉 WE’RE GOING TO THE SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE! 🎉

Mark it:
📍 State Theatre
📅 Tuesday, June 9
🌟 Featuring some of the top high school theater productions in the state

This is the kind of moment that reflects everyone…performers, tech, pit, directors…every late night, every detail, every ounce of energy poured into telling a story that mattered.

And it shows.

👉 Parents…tickets are LIVE (and yes…there are TWO nights…we are Tuesday, don’t get it twisted):

To every student involved…this is what excellence looks like.
Now let’s go take that stage. 💥

05/01/2026

You’re officially out of excuses.

Tickets are available at the door.
They’re $10.
Ten. Dollars.

There are very few things people truly regret…
but missing Mean Girls?
Yeah… that’s one of them.

There are only TWO shows left:
🕖 Tonight at 7 PM
🕑 Tomorrow at 2 PM

And I know what you’re thinking…

“I just got home from work…”
“I have to make dinner…”
“There’s no way we’re adding a show tonight…”

Wrong.

You grab dinner in Farmington like the responsible adult you are…
walk into a restaurant and confidently ask for a Kalteen Bar (maintain eye contact)…
or just order something off the menu like a normal person…
then head straight to the show.

Tomorrow? Even easier.

Quick coffee at Beans & Boots or Blue Nose…
gather your people…
and shuffle yourselves to the matinee like the socially aware humans you are.

If you don’t come tonight or tomorrow…
you missed it.

And if you missed it…
you’re going to hear everyone else talking about how funny it was.

And that?
That’s how outcasts are made.
