The determination, focus, and hard work displayed by every student was truly inspiring to see. I couldn't be prouder of everyone for the effort they put into reaching their goal. Every belt earned today was well deserved and a true reflection of their commitment, perseverance, and dedication.
Congratulations to all of our students on this important achievement—keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence!

One last shoutout for a 2026 graduate goes to another one of my Gen-Ki Black Belts, Sensei Eric.
Sensei Eric has been involved with the dojo since he was about six years old. In fact, he served as the dojo manager during his high school years before heading off to college. Throughout his time with us, Eric has been a great leader, motivator, dependable mentor, and highly knowledgeable martial artist. He has always led by example and has been an outstanding role model for others.
This year, Sensei Eric graduated from Princeton with a degree in Engineering Computer Science. He will be continuing his education at Brown University.
One of the best parts of being a sensei is watching these children grow into teenagers and then into adults who pursue their dreams and make them a reality. Seeing students like Eric achieve so much while continuing to inspire others is truly rewarding.
Congratulations, Sensei Eric! We are incredibly proud of you and excited to see all that you accomplish in this next chapter. 🎓🥋👏

Congratulations to Rachel on her graduation from Lane Tech and for earning not just one, but two scholarships!
Rachel is one of our Gen-Ki black belts, and over the years she has demonstrated outstanding dedication through her training. As a top tournament competitor and a respected leader in the dojo, she has set a wonderful example for her fellow students.
I am excited to see what the future holds for Rachel as she begins her college journey and takes the next steps toward her goals.
Congratulations again, Rachel! I love celebrating the successes and achievements of our students and watching them grow both on and off the mat.

Sensei Julia has been part of the Gen-Ki family for about 15 years, training through every rank and earning her black belt through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
I am incredibly proud of Sensei Julia and honored that she called to share this amazing achievement. Her commitment both on and off the mat reflects the true spirit of martial arts.
