We’re pleased to introduce another outstanding panelist for the Tunxis Foundation Economic Breakfast: Gregory Ugalde!

Greg Ugalde, GMB, CGP is President and Chief Legal Officer of Tamp; M Building Co., Inc., a Connecticut builder and developer responsible for more than 4,000 homes across 45 communities. He also founded GFU Investments, LLC, a minority-owned business focused on affordable and workforce housing.

Recently appointed Senior Advisor to the Connecticut Department of Housing, Gregory brings extensive experience addressing our state’s housing, development, and workforce needs. A past Chairman of the National Association of Home Builders, he serves on the CHFA Board of Directors and the Governor’s Workforce Council and is the incoming President of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Connecticut River Region.

His contributions have earned national recognition, including induction into the National Housing Hall of Fame in 2025 and the Foundation of Housing Award in 2026.

Meet one of our featured panelists for the Tunxis Foundation Economic Breakfast: Sean Kumnick, Senior Associate at Colliers.

Sean specializes in commercial real estate throughout Connecticut. Before entering the industry in 2019, he worked in politics and government affairs in Washington, D.C., developing extensive experience in research, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

A graduate of The George Washington University with degrees in economics and political science, Sean brings a practical, straightforward approach to helping clients navigate complex real estate decisions. His clients range from small manufacturers to institutional investors, and his work often involves collaboration with municipal and state stakeholders.

Alexa is a 15-year REALTOR® with RE/MAX One and serves as a Housing Partnership Specialist at Journey Home, where she works with community partners to help end homelessness and ensure there is a home for all. She is also President of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Communications Committee, and was named Connecticut State REALTOR® of the Year.

This Memorial Day, the Tunxis Foundation pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish each day. As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect on their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.
