Intealth Trustee Steven V. Angus, MD, FACP, was recently featured in a new American Medical Association article on residency readiness.

Based on his years of experience in graduate medical education, Dr. Angus outlines five essential skills residency program directors expect new interns to bring with them on day one. His perspective offers practical guidance for medical students preparing to transition from medical school to residency, emphasizing real-world clinical readiness alongside academic achievement.
