Feeling incredibly grateful for inspiring women mentors AND the fact that as a business owner we all have the opportunity to find them and connect with them by networking.

Networking is part of business so meeting other women that will support and inspire you in ways so much bigger than your business is also part of it. That’s amazing! What a privilege we have.

My life and business have changed so drastically from connecting with amazing women all around me.

They show up when I need them most without even knowing I do.

They ask me a single question that brings clarity.

They give me an idea that I needed but wasn’t allowing to happen.

None of this happens until we each choose to begin making the connections and doing it consistently. The business you want is out there. The mentors and people you love working with are out there. It’s a decision to allow them into your life and connect.

In person connections are so incredibly powerful and these people are all around you... if you open up, show up, connect and allow them in.

Networking is a constant need in business growth. It shouldn’t be a habit you feel like you have to show up to just to show up.

It’s an opportunity to be really intentional with who you are going to work with next.

Not all networking you do will actually help your business though. If it’s a just a routine habit to shake hands, give generic introductions, only pass business cards and ending there it may be hurting your business.

The kind of networking that WILL help you includes these things (Hint: they’re all up to you)

The people you network with should inspire you. If not, you’re in the wrong group.

You should feel encouraged and uplifted after you make connections. Again, your connections should be inspiring.

Your connections shouldn’t be a one time thing. Always, always, always send your thank you and follow up messages.

Every opportunity to introduce your business should be intentional. Use each one to attract the right people to you.

You should begin to meet more and more of the right people for your business and receive more and more referrals.

If not, you’re missing an important part of the big picture of what networking actually is doing for you.

Networking is consistently and intentionally putting yourself in position to meet the people you’ve defined as your ideal clients and receive potential referrals of them.

My disclaimer: Be sure you’re ready to pay attention to what starts happening in your life and business when you implement new heightened mindset and inner work. If you’re not willing to pay attention, you may miss it!

This isn’t a new thing, you’ve heard this many times. Journaling, writing down goals, describing what we really want, etc is important. It makes it real.
It makes it tangible. It makes it attainable. It makes us create thoughts. Thoughts become things, right?

There you go, that’s why it’s important and works.
