Big thank you to Farmington Fire Department for taking time out of their day to talk to us for National Fire Safety Week!!!

We spent the morning talking about Smoke Detectors, who to call in an emergency, and seeing what fire fighters look like in their Fire Fighting Gear!

We also talked about what to do in case we DO get in a situation where there is a fire.

We walked through the truck, saw the lights and sirens, and got to give the firefighters a big THANK YOU for helping keep our community safe.

We want to take a moment to thank her for all of the work that goes into our programs, and weekly lessons. We look forward to seeing her and singing all of the fun songs she prepares!

Mrs. Pope and Miss Kennedy’s classroom spent last week monitoring Bean Plants they wrapped in wet paper towels and hung in the window to let grow.

Monday our sprouts were big enough to plant! We learned about what plants need to be healthy and happy, as we planted the beans into our cups.
