Wow, I can't believe that summer came and went in a blink of an eye. I am beyond excited for this year, I know it will be GREAT to get back to "normal" and get our PTO back in full swing. A special thank you to Lisa Zeskind and Binay Manchel for chairing our Scholastic Book Fair, we know it was no easy task and we appreciate your dedication in making it all happen. Thank you to all our PTO volunteers that helped aid in the success of this year's book fair. It was great to have our parents back in the building and our students were thrilled to get some new books! It was a win-win for all.

It’s not too late to sign up for PTO volunteer opportunities throughout the school year! There are a variety of ways to help out, both in person and from home. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help staff our Scholastic Book Fair November 1st-5th.

We are excited to be bringing back Hillel's Fun Run on Wednesday, October 20th (with a rain date of October 27th) for our entire student body (ECC2 - Grade 8). An impetus for the run is our commitment to raising children with healthy attitudes towards fitness, wellness, and active lifestyles.
The Fun Run is a great opportunity to perform the mitzvah of tzedakah in the Jewish new year, so please encourage your child to invite family and friends to give. We are asking each student and/or family to raise a suggested amount of $36.00. The deadline to submit donations will be October 22nd.

PTO TALK AND WALK TUESDAYS
Every Tuesday in the month of October, all parents are invited to join PTO's new Talk and Walk group. The group meets for their stroll after drop off at the Little Red Schoolhouse in the parking lot.
