Bittersweet day...... Pegasus is going home today after 60 days of training. I and everyone here will miss her sassy mare self including her little friend Dixie. She has come so far from our first day! Wishing The Peg the absolute best as she moves on to her next chapter!

Just cruising at the trot allowing my student to concentrate on balance and body position. It's a fun exercise especially when your horse is all dressed up for a luau in their fancy leis.

Working on navigating those scary things 😳. You don't know what is going to pop up out there in the show arena or on the trail. I want a horse to be able to think their way through and have the confidence to work it out before it becomes a blow-up. This guy is the best 💓

Working on connection with this beautiful mare, Pegasus. She has come so far. When she came to me she was difficult to catch and needed a good deal of confidence building. Now she comes to me when I go to get her, stands quietly at the mounting block and thinks before reacting. Her eyes are soft and she has become a much more confident and willing partner. We still have work to do, but, what amazing progress we have made💓

I agree 💯 with this. Read the horse. Listen and work with the horse where they are right now. Slow down and take the time needed. You will have a softer, safer and happier horse❤️
