MINDFUL OF HOW FAR WE HAVE COME....

Established in 2014 at Housatonic Community College ("HCC"), and through a six-year partnership with the Housatonic Community College Foundation, the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame celebrated manufacturers from the greater Bridgeport area and the surrounding area, and raised scholarship funding that supported hundreds of HCC students pursuing careers in the manufacturing sector. This early partnership created a successful model to support a growing pipeline of skilled manufacturing workers, and in 2021 resulted in the geographic expansion beyond the Greater Bridgeport region.

Today, the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame is comprised of a group of passionate individuals and manufacturers. The group believes it is important to appreciate and understand the proud history of American Manufacturing. The Induction Ceremony is both celebration and a reminder of the distinct opportunities that advanced manufacturing brings to American lives.

To date the Hall of Fame has honored 29 manufacurers and has raised over $300,000 toward fulfilling its important mission.
