Today was my last day of work. I am officially retired. This picture was taken last Friday at our official retirement party. I was lucky enough to enjoy another week with the students. Monday Abby Lane Learning Center of Farmington will take over. I’m confident she will enjoy teaching as much as I did.

After 26 years of teaching and loving every minute of it, I have decided to retire. I am confident that I have chosen the right family to entrust with my students, as it truly takes a family. I will be forever grateful for having had a job I loved.

Today we painted snow with watercolors and eye droppers. I think they had a good time.

I’m a little late. This is our Easter egg hunt. I think they had a good time. We had one on Wednesday and Thursday. I couldn’t pick just a few pictures, so you get to see all of them!

The students made exploding moon rocks during our “Out of This World” week. We learned all about the solar system.

Last week was Under the Sea Week during our Summer Scholars Program. We made shark headbands. These are pictures of my wonderful staff trying to get one good picture of everyone. Lol. It’s a challenge sometimes.

Happy Easter! I just want to remind everyone that the preschool is closed tomorrow April 10th for our spring break. I’ll see you on Tuesday.

Yesterday we were asked to make birthday cards for a lady who was turning 101. They students were amazed. They were trying to get her 101 birthday cards. I hope she had a wonderful birthday 🎂

Today was our Christmas party. We decorated bags to put our treats in. Then we played party games, handed out our treats to put in the bags, and decorated cookies at snack time.
