Cardinal Drum Major Leah Pudlas was able to attend the University of Arkansas Drum Major Camp this week! In addition to being a member of the Cardinal Band, Leah is also a member of the Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band. She will be a high school junior this fall and will be serving alongside Senior Drum Majors Lucy Galan and Makayla Cox leading the Crimson Regiment.

Remembering- in 1995 Bethany Dorman, Melody Gabbard, and Melanie England forced me on the batman roller coaster in Six Flags St. Louis and I learned to tolerate roller coasters that the track is over your head. The last time I got on one was about 15 years ago forced by Jamie Spillars and Tiffany Wood. Today the kids in the photo and some not in the photo forced me on the Gauntlet roller coaster at Magic Springs. Based on their performance success throughout the year, I suppose they deserve to torment me…fun times with wonderful band kids…I still don’t like roller coasters btw…

Both Concert and Jazz bands earned Superior Ratings today at the Hot Springs Music Festival!!! Congratulations band and what a wonderful way for our seniors to give a performance before graduation!!! So very proud of these students!!!
