Welcome back to Rocinante High School, Mr. Thompson. We are pleased to have you as our new Principal!
Join us in welcoming Mr. Nathan Thompson back to Rocinante High School as the new Principal!
“I am incredibly happy to be back at Rocinante High School, a place that holds a special place in my heart as an educator. Now, as Principal, my goal is to build on the success and culture this school has worked so hard to create, and to keep improving our opportunities and graduation rates for every student who walks through our doors. Rocinante is a special place because of the people in it. Our educators and staff make it a school where growth and belonging come first, and I could not be prouder to call this community home again.” – Mr. Nathan Thompson.
Mr. Thompson joined FMS in January 2011 as a teacher at Tibbetts Middle School before moving to Rocinante as a Science Teacher in 2017. He also brings experience as a journalist for the Cortez Journal, a science teacher at Montezuma-Cortez High School, and, most recently, as Assistant Principal at Piedra Vista High School.
