Join Diné College for Shiprock Ag Days – Free Farming & Ranching Workshops.🌱🚜

The Diné College Land Grant Office invites the campus and community to attend Shiprock Ag Days, a free two-day event focused on agriculture, ranching, and community resilience in the Southwest.

Days: April 7–8, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Ayani’Neez Inc / Pioche Hall, Shiprock, NM (East side of the Subway building)

This is a free community event and all students, staff, and community members are welcome to attend.

The event will feature workshops and demonstrations on topics including drip irrigation, tractor operation, hay and forage management, livestock management, rangeland management, and herd health.

Participants can also enjoy door prizes, a seed exchange, and community resource booths. Morning refreshments will be provided, and lunch will be available for the first 100 participants.

This is a free community event and all students, staff, and community members are welcome to attend.

The NMSU Agricultural Science Center in Farmington is hosting a summer workshop for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teachers who would like to implement healthier eating and sustain cultural traditions for our Native American youth community. First priority will be given to those who meet eligibility criteria.
