Before our break in December, we celebrated the Class of 2024 IB graduates and they received their IB Diplomas, Certificates, and Seals of Biliteracy. It was a wonderful evening of catching up with each other and hearing some inspiring words from our speakers, Superintendent Dr. Coffin, Board President Weems, IB Coordinator, Russell, Principal Muessner, and IB Graduates Sean W. and Nia H. Congratulations IB Class of 2024 and continue to do amazing things!

This is 10 hours of work researching and presenting about a global issue. The students exceeded our expectations and once again proved what wonderful humans they are.

The FHS IB Programmes have been preparing for our Five-Year Evaluation for about 18 months. Last week we had a very successful visit from the Evaluation Team. They were impressed with the students and staff and left us with some ideas for improvement but with no "matters to be addressed". The evaluation team got up early on Wednesday to attend TOK class. The students, staff, and the evaluation team had a celebration luncheon orchestrated by the Shea family on Wednesday. It was a very positive experience that showed us how much positive our IB Programmes have for the community.

A few weeks ago, the seniors in TOK revisited the "Pens" game with several students leading the lesson since they have figured out the rules. Bonus: The level of detail in one student's notes are awesome. Do you know how to play Pens?
