Wildlife Rockstars is a one of a kind wildlife education program run by Bridges for Brain Injury.

Program members learn to care for rescued and rehomed exotic animals to help them on their journey to recovery after surviving brain injury!

September 2nd is our last Wildlife Wednesday presentation for the summer! 😎

We'll be at Eastview Mall from 11-12 and 1-2 like usual, but this is your last chance to see us there for a while. We've met so many great people at the mall this year, and enjoyed sharing our animal ambassadors with all of you!

(P.S. If your kids are already back in school you can still come see the animals without them, we won't tattle on you.) 🤫

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, a day to remember animals that have passed away. Wildlife Rockstars is often a place where animals come looking for a forever home. We take in animals from animal hoarders, fur farms, neglected pets, and illegally owned exotic animals. We care for animals that were treated unfairly, and need to be loved. This is why we do what we do, but it also means we've had to say goodbye to many beloved animals over these last 18 years.

This year we'd like to honor the memories of Cindy Lauper Hopper, and Phyllis Quiller. Cindy brought so much warmth into the lives of Bridges members, and children she met at presentations. Phyllis taught people not to judge a book by its cover. She was spiky on the outside, but a gentle soul who loved to be held. They may be gone, but they'll never be forgotten.

Tomorrow was supposed to be the last Wildlife Wednesday of the summer, but we're doing an encore meet & greet next Wednesday!

We'll be at Eastview Mall from 11-12 and 1-2 with all of your favorite animals! Come see the Wildlife Rockstars before the kids go back to school!

Our 3 banded armadillo Diggs recently got a new exercise wheel and loves it, but if he knows he's being watched he immediately stops running. This time I was able to sneak up on him without him seeing me.

The Wildlife Rockstars Program is a wildlife & conservation education program run by our staff and day program members. As part of their rehabilitation, members are re-building and learning new skills as they are trained in the handling and care of live native and exotic animals, birds, reptiles and more!

We had an amazing time sharing our amazing animal ambassadors with everyone at Victor Farmington Library! People clapped for Keys, went ballistic for Billie, and people really digged Diggs! Thanks for learning about the wonderful wild world with us!
