READY For Kindergarten at FMS is a family-focused program designed to help parents and caregivers prepare their little ones for a successful start to their school journey. If you have a baby, toddler, or preschooler, this program is for you! Families can find helpful resources, activities, and support designed to build the skills children need as they grow and get ready for kindergarten.

A few important reminders about drop off and pick up 🚗:
-The parking lot is for PARKING! Please do not drive-through and drop your kids off in the parking lot.
-If you are parking, please walk your students to the doors for drop off and walk to the sidewalk after school to pick them up from their teacher.
-Please note our parking lot is ONE WAY! As you can see in the photos below, these folks were going the wrong way which can cause accidents.

Our Vikings had their first fire drill of the school year this morning! Although it took a little longer than normal as we transition to a new system, they all did GREAT exiting the building quickly and quietly!

Great news for the 2026-2027 school year: Farmington Municipal Schools will continue offering free breakfast and lunch to every student, at every school in the district, through the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).

This means your child can enjoy a nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day at no cost to your family, no applications or paperwork required.

The first day of school for all grades is Monday, August 10. The first day for San Juan College High School’s Class of 2030 is Monday, August 10, and Tuesday, August 11, for the Class of 2029. Preschool students begin on Wednesday, August 12.
