Welcome to September! This month brings a fresh shift in seasons, cooler air, and the perfect opportunity to hit the reset button on your goals. Whether you are simply enjoying the changing leaves, it is a great time to focus on your growth and finish the year strong. We are excited to support you this fall. Thank you to student who came to the Orientation, the students who did not, remember to you can access the makeup workshop on Google Classroom.

September Reminders:
~Keep your Grades Up: Get help with your classes early or if you are on Grade Check for the month, you have two options.
~Set new goals: Write down one academic goal for this month.
Check in: Visit our office at RM 625 Monday to Thursday if you have any questions about workshops, events, etc.
~Recruitment: We have a few slots open for new participants who want to take advantage of joining our program, see Mrs. Shay for application or they can apply online see flyer.
~Closed : UB will be closed on September 9, 2026 all day, September 15 from 2pm-5pm and September 30 from 8am-10am.

~Upcoming Events
Study Hall sessions: Every Tuesday and Thursdays after school, if you need help or a quiet place to do your assignments, we are open!
~September 16th: Painting Activity, come and make some creativity pieces from 3:45 pm -4:30pm.
~September 22nd: RMACAC College Fair- We will be taking some students to this event, sign up with Mrs. Shay, the deadline is September 10th!

Yesterday, we held orientation for all returning participants, where we reviewed Program Requirements and did some fun activities like Getting to Know You Bingo! We also gave them school supplies and swag to kick off the school year!
