***ATTENTION PLEASE***
After some great conversations with some bright people, friends, family and supporters, I have decided to withdraw my name from the election for Farmington School Board.
For some personal reasons, I have not been able to put my best effort forward into a solid campaign; one that would show case my skills and my intentions as to why it was in my heart to be on the school board! I owe this opportunity more effort and attention. At this time I’m unable to give that!
I also realize the great importance of who gets the 3 available seats on the Farmington School Board! There are a couple names in the running that I won’t mention here, but if they get onto the board, I feel their extremism and their presence will be toxic and have a huge negative effect! I really think that my place in the election, if I stayed, would only thin the vote count across 4 candidates and actually hurt what could be best for the board, schools and ultimately the children! I’m doing this in a m effort to assure that those 3 seats get filled by 3 people who deserve the spots and will do the best for the children!
I’ve talked to a lot of people who supported my decision to run for this position. I want to thank all of them for their support! I’m going to ask that ANYONE who was already deciding to vote for me, who was debating to do so or who might be yet willing, to please cast that vote for David Barr, Missy Racine Gorman or Rebecca DeWilde! They are very well qualified people with a wonderful passion to see all children get the best education possible! These 3 will most definitely be who’s getting my votes and those of my household! So PLEASE anyone that’s on board with how I’d like to see things, how I’ve stated my opinion on school and student issues, etc…. Please cast your votes for Barr, Gorman and DeWilde!!!
