Your hands, elbows, and fingers are the most important tools when it comes to Structural Integration & Massage Therapy, but here are some other important tools you receive as part of your education here at Structura Institute!

RockFloss: a latex mobility tool used to wrap limbs. The compression of the wrapping influences muscles and joints to move without pain.
Massage & Deep Tissue Lotion: two types of lotion used for different modalities! Massage Lotion for learning how to give relaxation massages, and deep tissue lotion to prepare the skin for deeper tissue Massage Therapy & Structural Integration bodywork.
Tune Up Fitness Mobility Kit: a kit with a variety of mobility balls to use for trigger point release. You’ll learn how to use this kit yourself, and help your future clients understand the importance of self-mobility work inbetween bodywork sessions.
RockTape: a flexible, fabric textured tape that supports stability, recovery from injuries, swelling reduction, and enhances your body’s proprioceptive feedback.

IASTM Tool: Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (or IASTM) is a tool used to help the tissue engage with bodywork. Using gentle sweeping motions with the tool, we can prepare tissue for a deeper work.

RockPods: silicone cups used to lift the superficial fascial layer just under the skin. Learn how to use these cups for pain management, increasing range of motion, promote blood flow, and improve lymphatic movement.

Foam Roller (not featured on photo!): a large cylindrical foam mobility tool used for stretching, pain relief, and in e-cises you can share with your future clients!
