🐍VENOMUS SNAKES IN MICHIGAN??
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️Snakes get such a bad rep for no reason.
Just know, they have more to be scared of
from you then we do of them. ESPECIALLY
if you live in Michigan where we only have
one venomous species of snakes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️The massasauga rattlesnake is Michigan's
only venomous snake. It is protected as a
federally threatened species under the
Endangered Species Act. They’re one of only
two rattlesnake species that occur in the Great
Lakes region.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️The primary reasons for the massasauga's
decline in Michigan and rangewide are habitat
loss and fragmentation, human persecution or
indiscriminate killing, and illegal collection. @ Farmington Hills, Michigan

✨Beauty attracts the eyes,
personality attracts the heart.✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨If you guys can’t tell I take a majority
of my selfies in my car. I should start
a series.📸
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨Just wanted to say, I hope you guys
are happy. I hope you find something to
be happy about in each day. Be grateful
for everyday you wake up and can open
your eyes. Because someone wasn’t as
lucky as you or I. Stop taking the little things
for granted. Spend time with your family and
those who VALUE you. Those who contribute
to your life in a positive and healthy way. Life
is short and it moves fast. Be grateful for what
you have and the many opportunities you can
pursue each day.

🧖🏽‍♀️I have partnered with to
do a “Get Unready With Me” video. I’m
going to show you guys my daily night
time routine. The facial cleanser, moisturizer
& night cream are my holy grail!👌🏽🙏🏽💛
-
1️⃣ Cleanser (blue squeeze bottle).
Lather it up and massage into your skin
for about 30-45sec.
🚨IMPORTANT STEP. When you dry your
face don’t rub it dry. PAT it dry. All that
rubbing pulls at your skin & can cause
wrinkles!
-
2️⃣Curology Formula (white pump bottle).
I usually only need one pump to cover
my face. I gently massage into my skin.
-
3️⃣Day/Night Moisturizer (Blue pump bottle).
This is an optional step at night time. I use
it only when I need extra moisturizer at night!
-
💡When applying any product I try
to rub it in in a circular motion.
-
⁉️If you have any questions feel free
to drop a comment or DM me! I wouldn’t
promote products I don’t use myself or
believe in. So if you’re interested go
checkout ———>
-
I’ve been using curology for a year now!💛🌻

thank you for putting together
this event about invasive species management
in Michigan. It was very informative & I enjoyed
having the pleasure to meet the many coordinators
in this area working to resolve these issues
along with myself. Can’t wait for future meetings
& events to help bring awareness and changes to
our communities and state!

♻️REPOST:

📍 Detroit, Michigan
◾️Common Name: Mayfly, fish fly
◾️Scientific Name: Ephemeroptera
———————————————————
• Although seen as a nuisance to some Mayflies
are SUPER important when it comes to our Great
Lakes here in Michigan and water quality. Yes it’s
gross when you have to step on hundreds of them
to get to your car but hey, there are worst things
in life.🦗🦋🐞🐜🦟
—————————————————————————
💧Fun Facts💧
————————
🔻Mayflies can only survive in clean water
environments. They cannot live in pollution.
The presence or absence of Mayfly larvae is
an important indicator of water pollution.
▫️Mayflies only eat in the larvae stage & are
Omnivores. Once they reach the subadult/adult
stage they cannot eat because of absence of a
functional mouth
▫️Their lifespan can last from a few hours to
a few days.
▫️Mayflies have been around for some 350 million
years. This means that they existed even before the
dinosaurs came to existence and they survived the
K-T Extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs.🦖🦕

👸🏽I began my natural hair journey in 2011/12.
I spent a majority of my time in high school
straightening my hair unable to embrace my
natural texture. I went to a predominately white
school during this time and didn’t see much of
natural hair like mine. So in result I pretty much
burned my hair to a crisp and loss A LOT of length.
-
⏭Fast forward & became a thing.
I remember sitting on my iPod touch in tutorial
study hours looking at other girls pages with
hair like mine. I eventually decided to stop
straightening & began trying to embrace my
curls. I slowly transitioned into wearing buns &
pony tails. Went through stages where I’d just
gloppp on hella gel to try and maintain it. I would
braid down my hair and wear head bands all the
time. Eventually my go to hair style for almost 2
years was half up-half down.
-
⏭Fast forward to January 20th I came across she had ONE day open the same
week and was booked for months ahead. So it was
almost like it was meant to be... I hurried and booked
the spot and here we are months later. Checkout one
of my posts I made a few days back and see the tips
I dropped that helped with my transitioning. 💙🌻

🌍GLOBAL WARMING🌍
——————————————————————
“The planet is warming, from North Pole to
South Pole. Since 1906, the global average
surface temperature has increased by more
than 1.6 degrees Fahrenheit (0.9 degrees
Celsius)—even more in sensitive polar regions.
And the impacts of rising temperatures aren’t
waiting for some far-flung future–the effects
of global warming are appearing right now. The
heat is melting glaciers and sea ice, shifting
precipitation patterns, and setting animals on
the move.”
