🎉 WE DID IT, KENBROOK! 🎉

Our Fun Run was a huge success, and together, we reached our $20,000 fundraising goal! And you know what that means? Two Kenbrook staff members will be turned into ice cream sundaes! 🍦😂 We know the kids are going to love that!

A huge thank you to our entire Kenbrook community! To our students, families, teachers, staff, and everyone who donated, volunteered their time, shared our fundraiser, or helped make the event a success, we could not have done it without you! 💚

The funds raised help support all that our PTA does throughout the school year. If you’ve ever wondered how our fundraising dollars are used to support our school, we’d love to see you at our next PTA meeting on Monday at 6:30 PM in the Kenbrook cafeteria! Come learn more about our budget, where the money goes, and how we’re supporting our students and staff all year long.

And one more huge shout-out to Kee Kee Monique with Kreate Memories for creating the most beautiful balloon arch for our Fun Run! 🎈 It was such a fun addition to the event, and the kids absolutely loved it!

Reminder during all this Fun Run excitement- we have a PTA meeting next Monday! Hope to see you there!

We will be discussing the budget and there will be a representative from the district at our meeting.

Thank you for teaching, cheering our kids on, believing in them, and making Kenbrook such a special place to learn and grow. We are so grateful for everything you do!

Help us celebrate our amazing teachers today by giving them a little extra love in the comments! 🐨

🎉 We hit $15,000!

Thanks to all of your incredible support, we’ve officially reached our $15,000 Fun Run milestone! 💚💙

And now… we’re on our way to $20,000!

When we reach $20,000, our students will get to SUNDAE TWO STAFF MEMBERS! 🍦👀 which is one of their favorite rewards! Let’s make sure they hit that goal again this year! We’re so close!

Thanks again to everyone who has donated, shared, encouraged our students, and helped make this fundraiser such a success! We can’t do what we do throughout the school year without your help and we can’t wait to see how far we can go!

We love this! 👏🏼💙💚

“There are plenty of social media memes now about the volunteer and PTA Moms having to chase down the other moms and how to run away from them. But here's the thing: as the mom doing the chasing, it's not very funny. ”

We are ALL part of a school community. And here’s the thing that Rana is sharing today: there are so many ways to be involved, not all of them being in-person. She’s highlighting five reasons why she volunteers week after week in both her elementary and middle schooler’s schools.

Are you a PTA mom? A volunteer? Trying to fit it all in and not sure how? Click the link above to read her reasoning and then let’s chat about it in the comments below. ⤵️
