The Da40NG will be arriving in KFRG in March/April. We apologize for the delay, but she's been so popular up in Orange County, they didn't want to part ways with her (and when she gets here, you'll understand why) .

We will absolutely be posting more information as it comes (rental rates, training options, etc...). Outside photo is actual plane, interior photo is a stock Diamond photo.

The last pricing I received was as follows:

Base Rate: $198/hr + Fuel = approx $238.43/hr
(Burns 6.5gph/ Jet A at Atlantic currently is $6.22/gal)

With the support of Take Flight Aviation, we have now added a Diamond Da40 to the flight line at KFRG on the Echo Ramp. Available for rental or training, experience the satisfaction of flying a plane that still has that "new plane smell" :-)

It was a great session working with Rocco and Ryan, and it is amazing how much they have learned over the few weeks they have been attending the program here at Pilot Proficiency under the outstanding watchful eye and coaching guidance of Dan Weiss.

...and showing his courage, Ryan decided to do a short field takeoff - towards the trees- out at Mattituck.... and he had plenty of room to spare....

...and if landing on the carrier was not enough, Rocco figured he’d try the ultimate short field departure as well...off the carrier. Rocco was a pleasure to work with and really picked up the training quickly.

After acing his touch & goes at KFRG, why not be rewarded with a nighttime approach to KJFK 31R...and our student Ryan nailed it...and it was his first night landing to boot. Love watching the students in our programs accomplish results like this! Great job Ryan (and his pilot monitoring, Rocco, who had his own achievements on another video)

During the EAA - The Spirit of Aviation week (July 21-25), PilotEdge in collaboration with NATCA hosted "SimVenture," which gave pilots an opportunity to use their simulators and fly the famous Fisk Arrival into OSH while being controlled by real life AirVenture ATC! We were extremely pleased to offer this experience to our community and had several pilots fly the arrival inside our very own Redbird FMX AATD.
