🎸🏆 Farmersville Guitar Program Sweeps the Fresno City College Guitar Summit! 🏆🎸
Farmersville High School students are making waves in the music world! On March 13, the FHS Advanced Guitar Ensemble and two Sierreno groups (Cuatro Instantes & Marca Los R) traveled to compete in the Fresno City College Guitar Summit, a major event where schools from across the region showcase their talent and compete in multiple musical categories.
Competing against large schools such as Sunnyside, Central (Fresno), Sanger West, Kerman, Minarets, and Lindsay, our students represented Farmersville with pride—and delivered an incredible performance.
🥇 1st Place – Large Ensemble (Advanced Guitar Class)
🥇 1st Place – Small Ensemble (Senior Quartet)
🥇 1st Place – Solo Performance – Martin Cedeno Valenzuela
🥇 1st Place – Sierreno Group – Grupo Cuatro Instantes
That’s right—Farmersville earned 1st place in ALL FOUR categories, achieving a clean sweep at the competition! 🎉
This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication, growth, and teamwork of our talented students, many of whom have been part of the program since their freshman year. Their commitment has helped build a strong culture of mentorship and musical excellence.
