Elmer Lindamood CDL Training Scholarship

After the Touch A Truck event last Saturday, I was deeply moved
by Angel Lindamood and her son, Cody and their participation in the event! (Pictured below with my wife and me)

It was a big bag of mixed emotions as we honored Elmer Lindamood by initiating a CDL training scholarship with Collin College Continuing Education!

The North Texas Trucking community showed strong support and acknowledgment of LINDAMOOD TRANSPORTATION INC and Elmer’s legacy!

It’s only been September since Elmer’s passing and you can only imagine the difficulty in living without your husband/father and keeping the business moving.

I’m distinctly honored that Angel and Cody trusted me with the Lindamood name to initiate this scholarship. From the young people responding to the event and applying for the scholarship, I know it is the right thing to do!

If you’d be willing to donate a few bucks to help establish the scholarship, it is a worthy cause and any size donation will be appreciated.

Come out to the Elmer Lindamood CDL Scholarship Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, July 16th in Farmersville and let former Texas State Trooper, Kenneth Nolley explain!

Kenneth is owner of Priority One Compliance Services, LLC out of Longview, Tx. and will attend the Touch-a-Truck event to share all the details about the Commercial Vehicle inspection process and answer questions.

Hello Everybody……. This is Farmersville Mayor Bryon Wiebold.

Friday, June 10th is my birthday!

I’m using it to kick off fundraising for the Elmer Lindamood CDL Training Scholarship through Collin College’s Farmersville campus!

Elmer was an incredible Heavy Haul Trucking professional, a strong family man, a mentor to many and supportive of his community!

The trucking industry, in which I work, is short by approximately 80 thousand Drivers. The funds raised directly through Collin College will be used to train new CDL Drivers.
