Dismissal Information for K-3 Schneider Students

Families picking up K-3 students at Schneider or at BRIJH will need a school-issued placard. Students will not be released to an adult unless they have this sign. If you anticipate your child to be picked up by car or on foot and you do not yet have a placard, please reach out to Schneider at 309-928-2611 or email Sunny McMurry at [email protected].

On August 19, 20 and 21, car and bus riders will be dismissed at 2:20, and walkers will be dismissed around 2:25 (once the buses depart) outside of Door 2 in the area between BRHS and Schneider. On regular dismissal days, car riders will be dismissed at 3:10, and walkers will be dismissed around 3:15, in the area between BRHS and Schneider.

If your child will be picked up, it is important to keep that pick up choice consistent and communicate that with the classroom teacher. It will be confusing for staff and students if families alternate between walkers and car riders. If there needs to be a change in your child's regular transportation, please reach out to the Schnieder office.
