Mrs. Westing's 3rd Graders ended their Economics unit by creating businesses for Market Day. They created business plans, business cards, advertisements, and created their product. Students and staff stopped in to shop today.

Due to the rain, today's 8th Grade Graduation will take place in the gymnasium.
The food truck will still be available and parked near the middle school for easy access.

Cannon River STEM School is a public charter school in Faribault serving students in grades K–8. Their mission centers on providing hands-on, inquiry-based learning with a focus on science, environmental education, and sustainability. One of the highlights of their school year is the opportunity for students in grades 3–8 to participate in Residential Environmental Learning Center (RELC) field trips—multi-day experiences at outdoor learning centers across Minnesota.

These trips give students meaningful, real-world learning opportunities in ecology, teamwork, and outdoor skills. The funds raised through this event will help provide scholarships to ensure that all students—regardless of financial circumstance—can take part in these memorable and enriching experiences.
