UPDATE: we have all the hangers we need! Thank you for your support!

Our music department is looking for plastic hangers! We are starting to run low on quality hangers, which are needed to properly store our concert attire. As you are cleaning or reorganizing, please keep us in mind if you have any to donate. They can be dropped off at the high school office weekdays from 8am-3pm (including during the summer). Thank you!

On their last day of choir, let's celebrate this year's Choir Class of 2026! This group is such a caring, dedicated, friendly, and joyful group of student musicians. They have made a tremendously positive impact on the culture of our choir program and we are so thankful for their gifts of music and beyond over the last four years. 💚🎓

Congratulations to Ellie, Jada, and Sam, on receiving the Falcon Choir Awards, as chosen by their classmates. This award recognizes the student that each choir believes pushes themselves everyday, is a strong leader, skilled musician, a role model, and demonstrates strong character.

Ellie “leads her section with her singing, gives everyone her attention, has always shown up with a positive attitude, and is the most kind person.” 😇

Jada “always sings brightly and brings lots of joy whenever she walks into the room.” ☀️

Sam “such a positive person in choir and ALWAYS does their best, every single day” and "is goat." 🐐

We are proud to recognize Teegan and Gaby, our winners of this year's National School Choral Award. The highest honor for a high school singer, it is given to graduating seniors across the country in recognition of their musicianship, leadership, and character. Both these musicians have served their choirs as welcoming and dedicated leaders since 9th grade, and they have helped to establish a positive culture in our choir program that will benefit our singers for years to come. Congratulations, Teegan and Gaby!

We are excited to see the Faribault Middle School Music Department bring our community together through music this Saturday afternoon in Central Park! See you there!

Music drifted through Central Park last spring as families spread out on blankets and lawn chairs, turning a simple school concert into something bigger.

Now that our students and families are in the loop...we are headed to New York City! 🍎 🏙 🚕

We are kicking off the countdown to next spring break with a virtual informational meeting later this month. Families of students registered for FHS ensembles next school year will be receiving communication about this meeting and the trip through ReachMyTeach in the coming days.
