The Career and Advising Centerā€™s Mission is to empower and support students to achieve individual, academic, and career goals through holistic exploration and connections while at NDSU and beyond. We aim to achieve this by:

Explore
Encouraging and supporting exploration of majors and careers through an integrated service approach

Prepare
Providing education and resources to prepare students for

academic and career success

Connect
Facilitating connections between students, university, and community stakeholders through events, on-campus interviews, internships, and career opportunities

Support
Supporting and training faculty and staff, university wide, to enhance academic advising, promote experiential learning and career opportunities for all students

We had a great time welcoming students to campus and wishing them luck on their first day of classes at our ā€œMeet the Career and Advising Centerā€ event. We also shared details about our four upcoming career fairs, with opportunities for students to connect with employers and explore internships, jobs and career opportunities. And, of course, our therapy dog Scout was there to help welcome students back to campus!

Today, students walked through the gates and into a new chapter, cheered on by NDSU staff, faculty, families, kids and even a few four-legged friends.
