You don’t need to know what you have before reaching out to us.

We work with all kinds of old media, from VHS and MiniDV tapes to 8mm film reels, photos, slides, audio recordings, DVDs, and more. Bring us what you’ve got, and we’ll help figure out the rest.

That’s kind of the whole point of hiring someone to do it for you. You don’t need to track down old equipment, learn how to transfer everything yourself, or spend hours trying to identify what’s sitting in those boxes.

We’ll handle the technical side so you can get back to the part that actually matters: seeing, hearing, and sharing those memories again.

We spend a lot of time helping other families preserve their memories, and this week we’re taking a little time to make some of our own. 💙

We’re officially out of the office on vacation this week!

You can absolutely still reach out with questions or inquire about digitizing your photos, VHS tapes, film reels, and other family memories. Just know that we’re unplugging for a bit and will be responding to messages when we’re back next week.

Until then, we’ll be busy making the kind of memories we’ll want to preserve someday, too. 😊

We’ve all done it. You’re looking for a photo from 10 years ago and think, “Oh, it’s on Facebook somewhere.”

And maybe it is. But your social media account probably shouldn’t be the only place some of your favorite memories exist.

Accounts can get hacked or locked.

And digging through years of posts every time you want to find one specific photo isn’t exactly convenient.

Take the time to save the photos that matter to you, organize them somewhere you can easily access them, and keep backups in more than one place.

And if you have boxes of printed photos, slides, negatives, old home videos, or other family media you’d love to get organized and preserved, that’s where we come in.

There’s something about seeing your childhood home, hearing voices you haven’t heard in years, and watching people you love exactly as you remember them.

Suddenly you’re noticing the wallpaper in the background, the toys you forgot you had, the way your grandparents laughed, and just how little everyone was.

Those ordinary moments become pretty special with a few decades between you and them.

It’s one of our favourite parts of what we do. We get to help families bring these moments out of old VHS tapes, film reels, photos, and other media so they can actually experience them again and share them with the next generation.

Every box that comes through our doors has a story.

Sometimes it’s footage of a historic snowstorm that changed our community.

Sometimes it’s the first cry of a brand new baby.

Sometimes it’s a graduation, a wedding, or a family vacation that everyone still talks about years later.

Sometimes it’s the last video someone has of a parent, grandparent, or a beloved pet.

We never know what’s waiting inside those tapes, film reels, or boxes of photos, but we do know one thing: it’s never “just old media.”

It’s someone’s life.

After all these years, that feeling hasn’t worn off. We still get excited every time someone walks through our doors with a box of memories because we know we’re being trusted with moments that can never be recreated.

It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly, and we’re incredibly grateful to play a small part in helping those memories be seen, shared, and enjoyed again.

It happens more often than you might think.👀

Someone is cleaning out the attic, basement, or garage and comes across a box of old VHS tapes. They assume they’ve already seen everything on them, or they don’t have a way to play them anymore, so into the donation pile or trash they go.

But those tapes could hold your wedding day, your child’s first steps, birthday parties, family vacations, or the only video you have of someone you love.

Once they’re gone, there’s no getting those moments back.🥹
