Carter's Academy

Wow, what an amazing test last night!!
Only 2 testers, but they put on quite a show! Emily Westrick was promoted to 4th Dan, and Michelle Johnson was promoted to 5th Dan! They started out in our after school program as two shy, little elementary school girls - and after years of hard work & dedication, they became the powerhouse martial artists everyone witnessed last night! More importantly, they are two of the kindest human beings you’ll ever meet, and perfect examples of students who embody the tenets of TaeKwonDo. Congratulations ladies, we’re so proud of you!

Classes are at First Lutheran tonight!
Also, Master Michelle is testing for 5th Dan, and Miss Emily for 4th Dan!! Some of their testing will take part during the 6:15 class, & some after. All students are welcome to participate in their test, & everyone else is welcome to come cheer them on!!

A shoutout to Marti Nansen, Erika Serquina, Abby Haake (Xander’s mom), & Craig Hashbarger (Owen’s dad), who are running the half marathon tomorrow morning!!
Good luck gang! We’ll be out on the course cheering!

Congratulations to Karen Hankel, our First Lutheran Student of the Month!
Karen is an awesome, hard working student, who always gives her all! She was also recently part of an amazing medical mission team who traveled to Guatemala for important work!
