September is Baby Safety Month®!

Safe Kids North Dakota coalition partners will be joining the Baby Safety Alliance® in sharing important, practical baby safety tips throughout the month.

Did you know that safety begins with choosing and using baby products correctly? In a world of viral hacks and parenting shortcuts, it’s important to remember that not everything you see on social media or online is a safe practice.

Always make sure the products you use are appropriate for your baby’s age, weight, and developmental stage, and follow current safety recommendations and manufacturer instructions.

📣 It’s time for a shoutout!

Earlier this week, we worked with staff from Kindred Public Schools to make sure the car seats used in one of their transportation vans were appropriate and installed correctly. We love seeing their commitment to making sure even their youngest students are transported safely! 👏

It’s also a great reminder that our service area extends well beyond just the immediate Fargo-Moorhead area. Whether you have questions about your own child’s car seat or are responsible for transporting children in your care, we’re here to help.
