👏🏽 Congratulations to Jolene Rieck, FASLA!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Jolene Rieck, landscape architect and NDSU Parks + Open Space Design Studio instructor, on her elevation to the ASLA Council of Fellows — the highest honor the American Society of Landscape Architects bestows on its members.

Jolene’s career spans more than 25 years of trailblazing leadership in public policy, infrastructure, and community development demonstrating how landscape architects can lead complex public initiatives, shape policy, and deliver lasting impact for communities, especially in regions where the profession has historically been underrecognized. Her work has guided tens of millions of dollars in funding toward projects that enhance safety, mobility, environmental stewardship, and economic vitality.

Fellowship is reserved for those who have made exceptional contributions to the profession and to society through works, leadership, knowledge, and service. Jolene embodies all of it.

She will be officially invested as a Fellow at the 2026 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture during a special investiture ceremony a moment we can’t wait to celebrate with her. 🎉
