Thank you for your interest in my childcare program. I believe that all children are special and unique. It is my goal to provide children with a safe environment that offers nurturing, caring and educational activities. I provide an informal educational program to promote learning through hands on play. I structure my program to be responsive to the needs of each child. I encourage parents to discuss expectations they might have for their children and/or myself. I will always be open to any feedback about myself as a provider. It is very important to me that parents and the provider establish a good relationship and communicate openly. This is in the best interest of everyone… especially the child’s. About Myself: The daycare has been licensed for 3 years as a Family License. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Previously a Licensed Certified Nurse Assistant for 5 years. I have been blessed with a daughter who is 3 years old, named Juliette and baby #2 on the way, May 2nd). Originally from a Park River, ND, I come from a large family with 4 siblings and 13 nieces and nephews. I have previous experience with Children’s Arts through theater at an after school program. Graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Northland Community College with a degree in Sales, Marketing and Management. This Daycare will provide meals based of the USDA Food Program.I offer a pre-school curriculum to 3+ year olds. My childcare program is semi-structured. The children will be involved in individual activities, group activities, supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play. Infants will be introduced to fine motor skills, sensory activities, and age appropriate activities as they learn and grow. I believe all children learn through play.
