In January, Theatre NDSU was honored to be selected to perform Tracey Power’s “Glory” as one of only four featured performances at the Region 5 American College Theatre Festival (ACTF Region 5) in Rochester, MN. It was chosen out of over 100 university productions submitted across seven states.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce that faculty and students who took part in “Glory” received ✨national✨ awards from ACTF, positioning “Glory” as one of the best university theatre productions performed across the country this year:
• Distinguished Production of a Play: Cast, Design Team, and Crew
• Distinguished Performance in a Play: Gabby Elaine, Actor
• Distinguished Performance and Production Ensemble: Cast, Design Team, and Crew
• Distinguished Direction of a Play or Musical: Jess Jung, Director
• Region 5 Commendation: Terth Tuel, Assistant Director
These national awards from ACTF confirm the quality of North Dakota State University’s theatre program and inspire us to keep bringing stories to life, as we’ve done for over a century. Read the full announcement here: https://bit.ly/42r4sgL

The hills are alive… and so is Brewhalla!
On Saturday, March 21, we’re teaming up with Theatre NDSU and the NDSU Challey School of Music for a Sound of Music Sing-A-Long that’s equal parts wholesome and wildly fun.
From 10-11 a.m., meet the cast and NDSU faculty for a casual hang on the second floor. Snap a pic, say hello, warm up those vocal cords.
At 11 a.m., we cue the music and let it fly. From 11 a.m. to noon, we’ll sing our way through the classics together – lyrics are provided and confidence optional, but enthusiasm is definitely required.
This event is free and open to all ages, so bring your friends, your kids, your grandma, your inner Maria.
While you’re here, scan the QR code and grab tickets for NDSU’s full production of The Sound of Music happening April 9-12 at the Festival Concert Hall.
Come ready to sing like nobody’s judging. Because at Brewhalla, they probably aren’t.
