John and Katherine will be teaching a six-week Swing Dance class at CourtsPlus on Sundays from 2:00PM to 3:30 PM from April 10th through May 15th.

Hey Everyone. Fargo Swings! will be DJ'ing on the Fargo Marathon course from 8 am to 2 pm Saturday May 10th, in Moorhead near the Concordia Campus at the corner of 12th Ave S and 2nd ST S. Come on out. Cheer on the runners. Enjoy some tunes. Dance. Get a vintage Fargo Marathon T-Shirt!
Also - we are still looking at spaces for weekly dancing. If anyone has any ideas let us know.

Hey everyone. Looking at some options. What night do dancers think is best. Does Sunday 7-9:30 work?

My apologies to everyone, but due to the Avalon changing the venue on us at the last minute to a space that does not work for us, tonight's dance (Tuesday, August 6th) is cancelled and Fargo Swings! will be on an indefinite hiatus. We will keep you posted, after all management at the Avalon changes every 18 months or so.

In case you were wondering, yes we are back!
Tonight Tuesday August 6th, Doors open at 7:00 Lesson at 7:30 Dancing until 11 PM. No partner require. No need to sign up.

Excellent Swing Dance Opportunity! Saturday April 20th at 6 PM, First Lutheran Church, Downtown Fargo. FM Kicks Big Band.
Details: Each year about this time, First Lutheran puts on a "Prom Night for Senior Citizens" with a different theme each year. This year the theme is Happy Days - 1950s. There will be a meal served by Elvis impersonators and dancing throughout the evening.
If you are an Swing Dancer and you relish the opportunity to show off and "Dance Host" get a partner and contact me - John Noone, and I will get you and your partner on the list for complimentary admission. The Band will be playing songs during the dinner hour and you can dance for your supper! You are free to leave after the exhibition portion but are welcome to stay and "Dance Host" for the rest of the evening.

Taking a Break for a while. This Tuesday, December 18th will be the last Tuesday night Fargo Swings! dance for a while. We are hoping to reorganize and come back August 2013! So come on out for one last Swing around the floor at the Avalon until we see you again!
