Graduate certificates are a great way to gain specialized knowledge, enhance your resume, and – if you’re interested in the related master’s program – complete a significant chunk of required coursework.
Most grad certificates require three or four classes. Certificate program applications don’t require recommendation letters and most don’t require a statement of purpose.

Olabode Amusan and Nof Yasir, doctoral students in NDSU's electrical and computer engineering program, have been accepted into the Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Foundry Bootcamp. The program helps founders transform research breakthroughs and early-stage ideas into fundable ventures.

NDSU has named Joel Hektner Interim Dean of the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies following an internal search. Hektner, who has led the Department of Human Development and Family Science for the past 11 years, begins in the role today. Welcome, Dr. Hektner!

NDSU associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences, Ang Guo, has received a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award of $702,662 for his project, “Electrically Encoded Innate Immune Sensing in Cardiomyocytes,” which focuses on how heart cells sense danger signals.
Professor Guo's primary research focuses on how heart cells respond to stress and disease.
