The Fargo Public Schools Human Capital Department wants to shine a spotlight on its valuable employees who have a tremendous positive impact on the District's students, staff, and families. The District's educators are crucial to achieving our goal of educating and empowering all students to succeed and are dedicated to the idea that we are stronger together. HC has selected FPS staff members who are deserving of greater recognition and will highlight them each week.

This week Ben Franklin’s Team C held a team celebration to recognize their team of students who put in extra work practicing for the North Dakota State Assessment. Students who completed extra practice modules were awarded a raffle ticket. Winners were placed in a drawing for a 40” TV, Bose speaker, two hoverboards, and the grand prize…shaving Mr. Urbanski’s head and beard in a live assembly!

We really do have the best students and staff in Fargo!

Parents and caregivers are invited to complete the districtwide Climate and Culture Survey for Fargo Public Schools. Your feedback helps schools and district staff review current practices and plan for the upcoming school year. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and gives caregivers a chance to share their experiences in our schools. Caregivers are invited to complete a survey for each school their child attends this year.

Congratulations to the The cast and crew of the Ben Franklin Middle School for opening their production of W***y Wonka Jr.

The cast is taking tonight off, but will return to the stage for two more performances on Saturday at 7:30, and Sunday at 2:00. The show is free and open to the general public.

We hope you can join us for Ben Franklin’s production of W***y Wonka Jr.! A reminder that admission is free, bring the whole family!

BFMS Builders Club is sponsoring a Dental Hygiene Drive.
Donations of new toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, dental picks, and mouth wash will be taken before school, in front of the cafeteria, Tuesday, Feb 10th – Thursday, Feb 12th. Regular or travel sizes; everything is appreciated. All donations will be given to Liz’s Closet for Ben Franklin students and families.
