Meadowlark Elementary held its Battle of the Books yesterday for our 4th and 5th graders! What a fun event to promote reading! Congratulations to the Sparkling Marshmallows for taking first place!

Electricity is back on at Meadowlark! We will have school like normal tomorrow! YEAH!

Because of a leaking roof on Meadowlark's main circuit breaker, we are only on back up emergency power which means no learners can be onsite. All Meadowlark learners will need to complete their emergency packets tomorrow (2/17/2026). If we are unable to bring power back tomorrow, Wednesday will be a virtual learning day. Families can pick up their child's iPad tomorrow from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM if you did not do so today. I will be meeting with district maintenance staff in the early afternoon and will communicate out to parents the decision for Wednesday's learning in the afternoon tomorrow. Fingers crossed all power is restored sometime tomorrow! Thank you families for your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected circumstance.
