🎨 This year's Capstone Colloquium will be a place to wander. To move slowly. To notice what’s been made by hand.
Colloquium attendees will encounter a Jerusalem-style marketplace featuring handcrafted pottery, original artwork, and student-created pieces. Mark your calendars for September 2nd to take part in the experience.

🧐 “Compared to what?”
In logic, comparison is often necessary before we can rightly judge whether something is true, good, or effective. Claims become clearer when they are measured against real alternatives and lived experience.
That’s the heart behind this summer series. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing reflections from families who experienced other educational paths before finding Capstone - and what they discovered along the way.
Today, we begin with one family’s perspective on the difference classical Christian education has made for their child:
"Our son joined Capstone in August 2025 at the start of his Grade 7 year, after previously attending public school, and this first year has been an incredibly positive experience for him and for our family."
"We truly appreciate Capstone’s partnership with families, its genuine care for each student, and the way it helps students become thoughtful, grounded, and engaged members of their community."

🏆 And the 2026 House Cup goes to...House Nicaea! 🔥
Our Upper School came together yesterday for our very first House Experience Awards in order to recognize these victorious Scholars and Philosophers. Ever since winning this year’s very first House Games in September, these students have grown in teamwork and virtue to clinch the coveted House Cup. Congratulations Nicaeans!
And a huge thanks to our hardworking House Council parents who gave generously in their time, resources, and energy to bring this House Experience to life for our students. This year would not have been the same without you all!

❤️ “Let all that you do be done in love.”
Paul and Sheri Fisher have faithfully lived out this Scripture throughout their years here in Fargo. Before making the move to Arkansas this summer, Capstone students, staff, families, and friends gathered yesterday to bid a heartfelt and tearful farewell to these founding leaders.
Students shared how Mrs. Fisher impacted them as a loving and compassionate first grade teacher. Faculty reflected on the courage and conviction it took for the Fishers to move to North Dakota and help build this school from the ground up, as well as the Christlike leadership they modeled along the way. The Fishers themselves spoke of the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the Lord’s faithfulness through it all. And in a touching surprise, May 26, 2026 was officially declared Paul and Sheri Fisher Day in Fargo in honor of the lasting impact this couple leaves behind.
Capstone is what it is today because of their faith, courage, love, and leadership. Their influence extends far beyond these walls - into our community, our families, and the lives of countless students. We are deeply grateful for the way they have pointed so many toward Christ, and we ask you to join us in praying God’s richest blessings over them in this next season.
