We are excited to share that Mr. Peter Vercessi has been named the next Principal of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy, officially beginning his role on Monday, June 29th.
A lifelong educator, Mr. Vercessi most recently served as Principal of St. Helen’s Catholic Academy, where he led a 10% increase in enrollment. He also previously served as Assistant Principal at Manhasset High School and as Vice President of Community Education Council 24. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Academy. Mr. Vercessi is known for his collaborative leadership style and his strong commitment to faith-filled, student-centered learning.
We extend a very special thank you to Mrs. Theresa Andersen and Mrs. Bridget Murphy for their dedicated service as Interim Principal and Assistant Principal during these past few months. Their leadership and care for the community have been truly appreciated.

Today we celebrated 3 May Crownings. The Spanish, English, and Polish Mass. Each one was done with reverence by our First Communicants.
