The flower that started it all. 🌸

This flower may not look like much, but it was the one that started an incredible journey. It led us down a path of discovery, wonder, trial and error, and countless adventures.

Along the way, we had the privilege of showing people the beauty of seasonal flowers and proving that locally grown blooms have a freshness and charm that no store can match.

You can see the joy on Farmer Sarah's face. It all began with a random idea from Farmer Brent to buy a few bags of different flowers from a big box store just to see what would happen. Some never grew, while others flourished, like this beautiful dahlia.

Sometimes, the biggest adventures begin with the smallest ideas.

One of the questions we get asked all the time is, "What did y'all use to grow such healthy, productive gardens?"

People are often looking for some big secret, but honestly, it comes down to building healthy soil.

Over the years, we used lots of high quality compost and THE ONE FERTILIZER we trusted year after year:

If your plants are looking a little tired from the summer heat, now is a great time to give them a boost. Think Corgis were originally bred to be royal lap dogs? Think again. They were already legends on working farm.

Believe it or not, Corgis were originally herding dogs, bred to work cattle. Their short legs weren't just cute—they kept them low enough to dodge a cow's kick while nipping at their heels to move the herd.

Long before they became famous as the Queen's favorite dogs, they were tough little farm workers with a big job to do.

This is one of my favorite signs that summer has arrived in Texas...

Fresh figs are finally ready!

Our 6 trees produce enough for our family to enjoy fresh, make different items with and make preserved from anything thay we have left over.

You only need 1-2 trees yourself to enjoy all the fresh figs you want!

Throwback Thursday!

We built our very first greenhouse back in 2017

We didn't know exactly where the journey would take us—we just knew we loved growing food, learning something new every day, and chasing a dream.

After a long day of working the greenhiuse at the beginibg of tomato season. Farmer Steve and Desiree Kleypas celebrated the only way that seemed right... jazz hands! 🙌😂

Looking back, it's amazing how one greenhouse led to years of farming, countless lessons, incredible friendships, and memories we'll always treasure.
Sometimes it's fun to remember where it all began.

Life is hard. So naturally... we started a farm.

Some days we're fixing fences. Some days we're cleaning out old greenhouses. Some days we're wondering what we were thinking.

But every day is an adventure, and we wouldn't trade it.

What's the hardest project you've ever taken on?

Not every part of moving forward is exciting.

This little greenhouse may not look like much now, but it once played a huge role on our farm. We used it to grow lilies and to harden off thousands of vegetable and flower plants before they went into the fields.

After closing the farm, it sat empty as life took us in a different direction. Today, we're cleaning it out and taking it down.

It's bittersweet, but every project teaches us something. We're grateful for the memories this greenhouse holds, and we're excited to share what's next as we continue rebuilding, growing, and learning together.
