Our Mariners always enjoy the chance to share their school day with people who are important to them, and we loved having so many guests on campus.

Our halls and classrooms were a little fuller today as more than 100 grandparents and special friends joined us on campus!

From classes and electives to All-School Meeting and lunch, it was a wonderful day spent sharing FA with some very special guests.

For 24 hours, Penikese Island became the classroom and nearly everything on it became part of the curriculum for a group of our ninth graders.

They moved between studying the island’s complicated history and its natural environment, doing science in the field, and performing scenes from Shakespeare’s The Tempest in a place where questions of nature, isolation, and human community felt particularly resonant.

There was time for ping pong and pool, shared meals and exploring, too. But what stood out was how deeply engaged students remained throughout the experience: curious about the place, about one another’s work, and about the connections emerging between subjects.

A sweet way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Students in Senora Crowley's Spanish class made Mexican wedding cookies, then shared them around school. It was a simple act of kindness that captured the spirit of this year’s theme, “Unidos, somos más” — together, we are stronger.

Marconi Beach Day is about so much more than who wins.

Students in grades 7–12 are divided into mixed-age teams, where they plan their designs ahead of time, choose leaders, assign roles and then have just a few hours to bring their ideas to life in the sand.

It’s a day of creativity and teamwork, all set against one of Cape Cod’s most beautiful backdrops. And after decades of this FA tradition, it’s not just students who look forward to it. Spectators even travel from afar to watch the creations take shape.
