Pine Grove School Pine Grove School is a Montessori toddler, preschool and kindergarten program. Our philosophy is based on the principles of Maria Montessori.

Pine Grove is currently in the process of attaining accreditation through the American Montessori Society. Pine Grove School is a developmental, discovery-oriented toddler, preschool and kindergarten program dedicated to teaching the concepts of peace and respectful ways of resolving conflict. We are deeply committed to individualized, child-centered learning and believe that young children learn

best when they are stimulated to actively explore a rich array of hands-on materials at their own pace. Montessori believed that children are naturally curious and when given the opportunity to explore their own interests, they more readily internalize concepts.

A Touch of Montessori Summer Camp at Pine Grove is off to a wonderful start. We've explored the country of Holland and made windmills in Week 1. Week 2 was Farm Week and we welcomed a special visitor: Teacher Klara's pony, Guinness! Week 3 found us making a whole lot of art for BIG Messy Art Week. And we still made time for nature walks, sprinkler play, and enjoying bubbles on the playground!

We are pleased (and proud!) to announce that Pine Grove has been granted Accreditation Candidacy status by the American Montessori Society.

This is a pivotal step in the process of achieving AMS accreditation and we are looking forward to entering the Self-Study phase.
