June is on the horizon, and I want everyone to know about The Sandpiper Nursery School End of the Year, End of the Era Celebratory Reunion on Sunday June 9th from 2:00 to 6:00. If you went to Sandpiper, brought your children to Sandpiper, taught at Sandpiper, or considered yourself part of the Sandpiper family, please drop by, bring a small snack to share, your portfolio, and your memories!

This will be our last year at The Sandpiper. As we opened in June of 1991, we will close in June of 2024. I can't express how much the opportunity to have my own school has meant to me. I can't express how much I have loved serving this wonderful town. This has always been a "Mom and Pop" business, built with the support and talents of both our families, and the support of yours. Seeing the second generation bringing their children to us adds to the magic. Getting to work with the best staff (who become family); getting to know the many people who make up our town so that we always recognize someone wherever we go, has made my life profoundly rewarding. Then of course there are the children. Getting to laugh and love and watch little people learn every day is a gift. And so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us the opportunity to fulfill our dream.

We have some limited openings at Sandpiper for the 2023-2024 school year.
There are several in the Pre-K classroom, and two in the Preschool 1 classroom. Children must be 2years and 9months to attend.
We also welcome our new Preschool 1 classroom teacher - Kelly Pearce!
