The beginnings of a sketch at pier 1 in Mariner Point Park this Morning. It's been about ten years since I had the pleasure of plein air sketching in my favorite little park. If I finish this one I'll post the image.

It is SO IMPORTANT for us to remember that we are artists first, and then teachers. Summers are meant for our rejuvenation and the revitalization of our own artistic practices.

🎨 Every summer, I'm chasing a feeling.

🎨 Behind the Scenes at Happy Art Teachers...

Right now, my dining room table is covered in notes.

My computer has more tabs open than I care to admit.

And I have sticky notes everywhere.

Because in just a couple of days, I'll be opening enrollment for something I've been working on for a very long time:
