50th Reunion Info Solace Outpost is the location for our event! This will be the place for alumni of George Mason's class of 1974 (and friends!) for our 50th Anniversary Class Reunion as part of the All Class Alumni Weekend June 21-23, 2024.

Hello fellow Alumni,
In July we announced the 2024 All-Class Reunion would be June 21st-23rd next year. We have some additional details to share in the form of a weekend outline:
Friday: Opportunity for single-class or multi-year small groups to get together and reconnect. Options include Solace Outpost, Audacious Aleworks, Dominion Wine & Beer, and other local Falls Church venues.
Saturday Day: Student-led tours of the new high school building. See the state-of-the-art five-story marvel, as well as how the Mustang mosaic and memorial bricks from the original building have been preserved.
Saturday Evening: All-Class Celebration at Clare & Don's Beach Shack. A chance to meet fellow Mustangs from across the decades. Catered with a variety of delicious options.
Sunday Day: Picnic at Cherry Hill Park Pavilion. End the weekend well with fresh air and fun in the heart of Falls Church.

Also, I'd like to publicize that the Homecoming football game is next week on Friday, October 13th. Kickoff is 7pm. Come support the Mustangs as they take on Manassas Park! Tickets via the GoFan app: https://gofan.co/app/school/VA86794

People of The Horse. With the All Class Reunion in 2024 is there any interest in having a Class of 1977 Party? Including Class of 1976, 1978? (Actually, anyone that wants to attend)

Hello fellow alumni,
To those of you I have had the pleasure of meeting - hello again! To those I haven't - I hope to have the chance!
To everyone - I'd like to introduce myself, announce the dates for our 2024 All-Class Reunion, and make a request.

My name is Will Stewart, Class of 2007, and in Fall 2021 I took up the reins as president of the George Mason-Meridian Alumni Association.
I'm happy to tell you that the weekend of June 21st-23rd, 2024 has been selected for the 2024 All-Class Reunion.

Save the Date! All-Class Reunion announced for June 21-23, 2024

This all-class reunion has been planned to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Falls Church City Public Schools becoming an independent school system.

The city's 75th anniversary celebration will begin in September 2023 with the Falls Church Festival and conclude in June 2024 with the school anniversary (June 27th, right after the reunion).

Please stay tuned for details.

So now to my request -- Please forward this to any of your classmates you are in contact with, whether that be through email, Facebook, or other social media. While not much has been planned out as of yet, we endeavor to put together a fun weekend of activities in and around the new school building and Falls Church City.

My concern is that I have not heard from him since before the Kentucky Derby and we always talked on Derby Day. On this day 46 years ago the Class of 1977 trod the boards on their very last day ever at GMHS. 16,801 days have passed since that graduation. We have all gone in many different directions and that is a good thing. Cheers to my fellow Mustangs
